Matt serves as Senior Vice President at Backstory Capital, specializes in capital raising through independent broker-dealers and registered investment advisors. With over 17 years in the alternative investment industry, Matt brings extensive expertise and a proven track record to the team.

Prior to joining Backstory, Matt served as Vice President of DST Sales at AEI Capital and Sales Director at RK Properties, where he successfully raised over $1 billion for alternative investment products. Before his finance career, Matt served in the United States Army, completing two tours of duty as an Infantry Team Leader in Iraq.

Matt holds a degree in Finance and an MBA from the University of Wisconsin – River Falls, along with FINRA Series 7 and 65 licenses.
